Terms of Use
The terms and conditions governing your use of the Mekavo platform.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mekavo platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by USK DIGITAL LTD (trading as "Mekavo"), registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16477044).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mekavo, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to bind the business entity you represent, and agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
2. Account Terms
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
- One person or business may not maintain more than one free trial account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its related systems
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful software
- Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam)
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell, sublicence, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
- Use the Service in a way that could harm, disable, or impair the platform
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service ("Your Data"). By using Mekavo, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and process any personal data belonging to your customers. You act as the data controller for your customers' data, and Mekavo acts as the data processor. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We will not access, use, or share Your Data except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with the law, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Payment Terms
- Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe
- All prices are displayed in your local currency (GBP or EUR) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated
- VAT is added where applicable based on your country
- SMS credit packs, AI credit packs, and vehicle lookup top-ups are one-time purchases and are non-refundable once any credits or balance have been used
- By using any included or purchased credits (AI, SMS, vehicle lookups), you consent to the immediate performance of the digital service and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
- If payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend access after a grace period of 7 days
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice

6. Cancellation and Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then
- Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 90 days, after which it will be permanently deleted
- You may request immediate data deletion by contacting us
- We may terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without notice

7. Intellectual Property
The Mekavo name, logo, software, design, and all related content are the intellectual property of USK DIGITAL LTD. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or proprietary technology.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
8. Service Availability
We aim to provide 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will notify you in advance where possible)
- Emergency maintenance or security patches
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by service downtime.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements
- Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless USK DIGITAL LTD, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to submit a dispute to the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
