- About Fleet
Built for fleets that run real roads.
Why we built Mekavo Fleet — and why we built it for the small carriers, not the Class 8 giants.
Small fleets deserve the same software as the giants.
The big carriers have in-house safety departments, compliance officers, and enterprise TMS budgets. We built Mekavo Fleet for everyone else — the 20-truck regional hauler, the 8-vehicle last-mile courier, the 12-vehicle city fleet, the school bus operator, the mobile-service contractor. Fleets that run the interstates and the back roads every day but don't make the shortlist when someone says "fleet-management software".
We looked at what those fleets were actually doing: paper DVIRs clipped to the sun visor, WhatsApp photos of brake lights, a spreadsheet tab for CDL medical-card expiry dates, a filing cabinet with insurance certificates and UCR filings. FMCSA compliance by willpower and a few good habits. One roadside inspection or DOT audit away from real trouble. We thought that was wrong.
So we built the platform that gives a 12-truck carrier the same digital pre-trip inspections, defect workflows, driver qualification files, hours-of-service-aware scheduling, and compliance dashboards a 1,200-truck carrier has. Same interface. Same rigor. Per-vehicle pricing so the math works whether you run a single box truck or a whole yard.
"Compliance shouldn't depend on a spreadsheet that lives on the owner's laptop."
Built for every fleet, in every state.
One platform. Different fleets. Same rigor — all 50 states.
Three principles behind Mekavo Fleet.
Compliance without the filing cabinet
Every pre-trip DVIR, post-trip inspection, defect, driver qualification file, and insurance certificate — time-stamped, signed, and audit-ready when the DOT or FMCSA asks. No more "let me check the binder". One view of fleet risk that survives the person who knew where everything lived.
Drivers, not driver IDs
Real CDL drivers with real shifts. Licence class, medical-card expiry, hazmat and passenger endorsements, motor-vehicle-record checks, driver qualification files, vehicle assignments, role-based access. Built around how carriers actually run — not around a database designer's idea of a "resource".
The price the big fleets pay
Per-vehicle pricing, flat and honest. You pay for vehicles you run. No sales calls to unlock features, no enterprise tier gatekeeping. The same tooling a 1,000-vehicle fleet uses — rented by the vehicle.
