The big operators have safety managers, compliance teams and enterprise TMS budgets. We built Mekavo Fleet for everyone else — the 20-truck North Island hauler, the 8-vehicle Auckland courier, the Queenstown tourism operator, the council fleet, the rural contractor. We looked at what those fleets were doing day to day: paper pre-trips, WhatsApp photos of defects, a spreadsheet for Work Time hours, a folder with WOFs, CoFs and RUC statements. NZTA compliance by willpower and habits. One Operator Rating downgrade away from real trouble. We thought that was wrong.
